How to Register
Convenient online registration is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! Families may view their account, pay tuition, rehearsal and/or performance fees and view or change their class information at any time. Families will need to create a username and password to register.
An annual non-refundable registration fee (families who pay their registration fee as a new student after May 1 will also carry them into the following school year), first month’s tuition and enrolling into our monthly pay auto system is required to secure a place in class.
After setting up your account online and choosing a class, one of our office staff will contact you to complete the process and answer any questions. All students must fill out a paper registration form and waiver before beginning any class.
Trial or placement classes are $18 and must be scheduled in advance. With your pre-scheduled trial class, you also receive, at your request, a pre scheduled, twenty minute tour of our facilities along with time for us to answer any questions to ensure a successful and fun first class! We encourage you to exercise this option so that you feel prepared and familiar with our facilities, staff, and have an opportunity to pick up dress code and dance supply items in our dance shoppe!
Drop In Classes
Please register for your drop in class online to reserve your space in class. All trial classes must be paid in advance prior to the class. Adults also have a discounted drop in punch card option that can be purchased online. Please arrive to your trial class 15 minutes early to allow time to navigate the facilities, settle in, and find which classroom you will be located in.

Please reserve your space in class online in advance. Classes are limited in size, therefore it is important to pre-register. Additionally, only pre-registered students receive important information about that class. Technically you show up and attend class without pre-registering, however all new students are required to check in with the office prior to ensure there is space in the class and then continue the registration process in person. The office can be very busy so we highly recommend conveniently taking care of registering in advance online and by giving us a call or an email to set up an appointment.
Tuition Payment Options
Annual tuition is divided into equal monthly payments for the school year from September through June, already accounting for 4 or 5 week months, holidays and closures amortized for the school year and summer months as a separate season. The summer season can be paid each month (July/August). Alternately, payment may be made for half the school year, the second half due in January, which is discounted, instead of enrolling for monthly automatic billing. The Summer season can also be paid in full or monthly. Due to the large number of students we serve, IDT does not accept monthly checks for tuition payments unless it is received prior to when auto pay runs at the beginning of each month, in which case the auto pay system will not charge you unless there is a balance due. A student is not considered registered until payment is received (or) automatic withdraw is set up to begin at the designated date. We do accept checks, cash and credit card payments for initial payments and other purchases in our office and shop.
IDT has a separate dance supply shop on site with all of your dress code needs as well as fashion items. We also now allow online purchase for student starter kits as well as IDT logo merchandise. All fashion items are available at our on-site dance shop only at this time. If there is anything we don’t carry, feel fee to ask and we are happy to make special orders or refer you to the right place!
All online purchases can be picked up at our dance shop!
Note: Dance shoes are included in our packages, however we recommend the dancer comes in to try on as all brands sizes run differently, and all sales are final. Happy shopping!
